Mobile County Metro Jail
The Mobile County Metro Jail is at 450 St. Emanuel Street, Mobile, AL 36603. This is a maximum security facility and the largest jail in south Alabama.
The jail can hold up to 1,500 detainees. There is also a 325 bed minimum security barracks for low risk inmates. Inmates in the barracks may be put to work on county projects.
